Center for the Business of Life Sciences (CBLS)
Founded in 2008, the Kelley School’s Center for the Business of Life Sciences was started with the belief that life sciences companies are essential economic drivers for growth and employment. To ensure the success of the industry as a whole, however, requires a broad collaboration of science and business acumen. CBLS brings together students, faculty, life science companies and other corporate partners to:
The goal of the CBLS is to widen and deepen Kelley’s life sciences brand and to make Kelley the place to study and to hire students who have an interest in the life sciences and health care industries. The Center for the Business of Life Sciences at Kelley is just one part of Indiana University’s commitment to the life sciences. For more information about Indiana University’s life sciences initiative, go to Center for the Business of Life Sciences.
Since 2006, CBLS has been presenting the Indiana Life Sciences Collaboration Conference Series, which provides a forum for various players in healthcare and life sciences to consider, discuss, and debate key business strategy issues. The forum brings together key players from industry, academia, government, and economic development communities. Join us in helping advance business solutions in the life sciences field.
