Indiana University is a leader
in life sciences education and research. There
are many academic departments and programs that are advancing
life sciences research and discovery around the world. In
Indiana, the students who graduate from IU programs are
in demand worldwide and research commercialized from
Indiana University is having a major impact on Indiana's
economy.
The Bloomington Life
Sciences Partnership is working
collaboratively with the South Central Indiana Small
Businesses Development Center, InVenture (the new Bloomington
technology incubator), Bloomington Economic Development
Corporation, and other economic development organizations
to develop networks of professional service resources
for entrepreneurs and existing businesses. It is critical
for small and emerging businesses to locate all
available resources and assistance programs in an efficient
manner in order to build a successful enterprise.
Assistance may be needed in how to set up a business, develop
an adequate financial model, legal or intellectual property protection,
regulatory affairs or just how to build a better business plan.
We are developing a resource list in the
region that is second to none. If in need of advice on
